While
redfish and spotted seatrout are the main focus of Texas
spectacular saltwater fishery, it is important to be prepared
for anything. It is not uncommon to have opportunities at
jack crevalle, black drum, sheepshead, flounder, triple tail,
lady fish, spanish and king mackerel, false albacore, sharks
and yes, even tarpon.
Late spring through early fall offer anglers
the most variety as far as species go however, great fishing
for reds and trout can be found, weather permitting, year
round.
Most fishing is done from a technical poling
skiff, however we do occasionally wade fish. To provide the
best service possible, trips are limited to one or two anglers.
Fly fishermen and light-tackle anglers are welcome. Scott
promotes catch and release.
